We are SAT Plating

a Veteran led, family owned and operated company that develops technical solutions for applying metal platings to high performance engineered polymers.
Our goal is to give engineers an expanded range of materials and plating options for solving their project challenges.

By expanding the range of choices, engineers are now able to use polymer and metal combinations with the physical characteristics best suited for their application, like chemical resistivity, thermal range, corrosion resistance, and RFI/EMI shielding. Our plating can be found in aerospace vehicles, computers, telecommunication devices, and even in professional medical devices and appliances found in hospitals and doctors’ offices

We also offer advanced processing techniques that can only be found with our company. We call these techniques Adaptive Plating Technologies (APT). With APT, you are in control. We offer you product designs that stay on the cutting edge of the polymer plating market. APT also affords you the ability to select the material in which your product will be made from, giving you a specialized product at a reasonable cost. Another area we specialize in is our Surface Activation Process (SAP). SAP maximizes the adhesion of metal platings, without etching or eroding the surface of the polymer, avoiding dimensional changes.

When combined with APT suite, SAP can enhance the structural stability and functionality of your product, as well as offering a of aesthetic options for your finish.

We have the ability to plate polymers like PEEK, Ultem, Carbon Fiber, and many more.
